The Slava Cacophonia group is an international artistic project of eight performers from four different countries: Poland, Hungary, Latvia and Holland. The group was established in March 2009 in Perfomers House, Denmark. The idea of building up the group came spontaneously among eights students of the school. It was an exploration and experimental work of people with different backgrounds within the art and life experience. Moreover the group was working in the spare time when the classes where finished and it became an independent group.
Members of Slava Cacophonia decided to work together in the future and improve their skills as performers and bring something to the art world and share it with people. For all of them the case of performance has unlimited possibilities what leads them to unknown areas through dance, physical theater, voice practice and body work. Intercultural background of members brings new inspiration to the work and creates unusual frame for the work; considering diversity of languages, experiences, culture and different ways of approaching the art.
The group decided to work together and create projects within the art with social, political and existential cases they find interesting in life. They all believe that art has important role in the society in order to break prejudices, stereotypes, social orders and help with crossing the borders and limits.
